Dr. Tanga D. Hart-Robinson, FNP-C

Dr. Robinson, DNP, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner provider and owner of Home in the Woods Healthcare the first African American own medical clinic in Itta Bena. Dr. Robinson provides a wide range of medical care for her patients including Pediatrics (EPSDT screening), acute and chronic disease management DOT, physicals, Women's Health, Men's Health, Urgent Care, Home Visits, and Vaccinations.

Dr. Robinson completed her Master of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner (2014) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (2019) at Walden University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society.  Dr. Robinson has been recognized as a registered nurse in pediatrics, telemetry, critical care, postpartum, cardiac step-down, pediatric oncology, neurology and emergency medicine since 2001.

Dr. Robinson is a native of Itta Bena, Mississippi. She attended and graduated from Leflore County High in Itta Bena. Dr. Robinson is the mother of one son who attends the University of Mississippi. When Dr. Robinson is not tending to the wellness of others, she is up cycling furniture and gardening. Dr. Robinson is also a volunteer at the Christ Temple Apostolic Church and has been a member since she was born.
